The Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security (MASE) has so far issued five positive environmental impact assessments (EIAs) in October for five agrivoltaic and photovoltaic projects totaling 265 MW.
The largest project is a 72.6 MW ground-mounted photovoltaic system to be built by Ine Seddonai Srl in the municipality of Putifigari (SS), Sardinia.
Including the latest assessment issued on September 26 in favor of PVExo Cassiopea Srl for a 55.8 MW agrivoltaic system, in September MASE issued 15 positive EIAs for solar projects totaling 806 MW.
Decrees
With decree no. 572/2025, Mase (Italian Environmental Protection Agency) expressed a positive environmental compatibility opinion for the project of a 55.8 MW agrivoltaic plant called "Tresoldi," integrated with a 26.4 MW storage system, to be built in the municipality of Trecenta (RO). The proposing company is PVExo Cassiopea Srl.
With Decree No. 578/2025, Mase expressed a positive environmental compatibility opinion for the project of a 44.86 MW agrivoltaic plant to be built in the municipalities of Acquaviva delle Fonti and Casamassima (BA). The proposing company is Flynis PV 34 Srl.
With Decree No. 579/2025, Mase expressed a positive environmental compatibility opinion for the project of a 68 MW agrivoltaic plant called "Gricciano" in the municipality of Collesalvetti (LI). The proposing company is Edison Rinnovabili Spa.
With Decree No. 585/2025, Mase (the Italian Environmental Protection Agency) issued a positive environmental compatibility opinion for a 72.6 MW ground-mounted photovoltaic system, distributed across two distinct areas, to be built in the Municipality of Putifigari (SS). The proposing company is Ine Seddonai Srl.
With Decree No. 589/2025, Mase (the Italian Environmental Protection Agency) issued a positive environmental compatibility opinion for a 19.9 MW agrivoltaic system called "Cisterna 2" to be built in the Municipality of Ferrandina (MT). The proposing company is Ambra Solare 31 Srl.
With Decree No. 600/2025, Mase (the Italian Environmental Protection Agency) issued a positive environmental compatibility opinion for a 60.49 MW agrivoltaic system called "Valletta" in the Municipality of Finale Emilia (MO). The proposing company is Valletta Solar Srl.
