Slew Drive Gearbox Description
The trough type solar thermal power generation system is called a trough parabolic mirror solar thermal power generation system. The trough type parabolic concentrating collectors are arranged in series and parallel, heating the working medium, generating high temperature steam, and driving the steam turbine generator set to generate electricity.
Trough solar thermal power generation uses solar trough parabolic mirrors for solar thermal power generation. It is a multi-channel parabolic concentrating collector, arranged in series and parallel, so that it can collect higher temperature heat, heat the working fluid to generate steam, and drive the steam turbine generator to generate electricity. The trough solar thermal power generation is mainly composed of four parts: Mirror field, heat exchange system, heat storage device and steam turbine power generation device.
The slew drives are needed in making the mirror tracking towards the sun all the time to collect the heat.
